What a nice letter I received via email on Thursday, October 15, 2009 from Jenny Beth Martin and the Tea Party Patriots. The letter reads as follows:

Turn Up the Heat!

Want to do your share to help fight government takeover of health care? Please call and email all of the Senators on the Senate Finance Committee. It is time to turn up the heat!

Email all Chiefs of Staff of the entire Senate Finance Committee and tell them why you do not want the government to take over health care. Remember the three simple messages from last week:

• No Government Run Health Care

• No Mandate

• No Reconciliation/Fast Track (using reconciliation for health care reform is corrupt)
  

These three simple messages are what we need to get across to these Senators and their Chiefs of Staff.

When contacting these Senators, you can remind them they although you may not live in their state, there vote represents the American people. You can also let them know that the next time they are up for reelection, you will be happy to contribute to the campaign of their opponent!

Now, let's get to work and turn up the heat!
