TURN UP the HEAT on the Senate Finance Committee!

Greetings Fellow Patriots,
I hope you all have recovered from the 9.12 event that took place. It certainly was an amazing event and weekend. Even if you were not in DC, most, if not all of you, attended local events. Overall, the weekend of 9.12 was very successful! Job well done my fellow Patriots!

We have great momentum coming off a historic event, but that does not mean that we can let up on applying pressure to our elected officials. They are going full speed ahead trying to get this health care legislation passed, so we have to turn up the heat!

Right now, the Senate has legislation in the Senate Finance Committee and this is where we need to focus our efforts. We need your help in emailing the Chiefs of Staff of the Senate Finance Committee members.

We have three simple messages for them:
1. No Government Run Health Care
2. No Mandate
3. No Reconciliation/Fast Track (using reconciliation for health care reform is corrupt)

These three simple messages are what we need to get across to these Senators and their Chiefs of Staff. Will you please do your part by emailing these Chiefs of Staff on Thursday? Will you continue your effort by calling the Senators' offices on Friday and speaking with their staffers? When calling and emailing, remember the three simple messages listed above. Be sure to let the Chief of Staff know who you are in your community, whether you are a business owner, community leader, teacher, nurse, policeman, fireman, veteran, etc. and why government run health care is not good for you and your family, as well as not good for America.

When emailing and calling these Senators and Chiefs of Staff, you can remind them that while you may not live in there state or district, you will be happy to contribute to the campaign of their opponent the next time they are up for reelection.

You should also note that earlier today, Senate Finance Committee Democrats rejected a GOP amendment that would have required a health overhaul bill to be available online for 72 hours before the committee votes. the GOP members of the Senate Finance Committee argued that transparency is an Obama administration goal and that their constituents are demanding that they read bills before voting. The Democrats on the Committee rejected the amendment, so the bill will not be available online before being voted on by the Committee. That is transparency for you! You can read more about it here.

Patriots, it is up to us to stop the government takeover of health care. Please do your part by emailing on Thursday and making calls on Friday. Time is of the essence and we need to turn up the heat NOW!

My Friend & Great American Patriot, Lloyd Marcus

As you all know, I was on the Tea Party Express bus with Lloyd Marcus, the writer and performer of The National Tea Party Anthem, traveling across this great nation. Lloyd has become a dear friend to me and someone that I care for and have a great amount of respect.

While on the bus, Lloyd talked about racism and how he is being treated by those on the left. It is unfortunate that such a good man that loves his country has to be treated the way he is being treated. I received an email today from Lloyd that discusses the treatment he is receiving from those on the left. I want to share his email with you. Lloyd is a strong man and is standing tall when it would probably be easier to retreat. I know that Lloyd will continue to stand tall and will remain steadfast in his conviction because he is an inspiration to many and a voice for many.

I have to say that I was surprised to see the picture in Lloyd's email today. I did not know that he has graphic artist capabilities in addition to his singing talents! Great job Lloyd!

I think it is important that we lift Lloyd up and let him know how much he is appreciated for all he does to further the cause and the movement. He is a great American and we are so very proud of him!

I appeared on CNN Newsroom hosted by Don Lemon. He was fair and allowed me to make my points. I stated three things in the interview. One, I refer to myself as an American rather than a hyphenated African-American. Two, the tea party protests are against President Obama's policies, not his race. The protesters are decent hardworking concerned citizens. Three, the American people are not racist.

These statements inspired immediate outrage from the so-called tolerant and compassionate Left. An email from a self proclaimed Marxist threatened physical harm to me. He also vowed to destroy me and my music career. A creative leftist called me a “Toxic Negro”. Another called me a “sell out”. The “you're a minstrel” and “do you tap dance too” comments in one email were interesting. Less creative e-mailers expressed their outrage towards me by using the typical “F” and “N” bombs every other word, including my favorite, “Who the “F” do you think you are?” Now, if I can create a hit song using my hate mail that would be sweet capitalistic revenge.

I received angry emails from blacks who said I should be ashamed of myself. Apparently, they believe my not resenting whites and America is a betrayal of my blackness. I no longer feel the need to be patient with racist blacks. Just as we do not tolerate the KKK and white supremacists, we should not give a pass to racist blacks. Racism is evil...period.

I am continually amazed by the Left's anger at me for saying America and it's people are good and that I love my country. Why should these statements inspire such rage? It appears the Left hates all who love America. They particularly despise patriotic minorities.

Folks, thanks for your prayers and numerous emails expressing your thanks and support. My strength and peace comes from knowing I am on the right side and in God's Will. Also, my delete key is my friend.
Lloyd Marcus

Here is Lloyd's interview on CNN.

Before I go, this is one of the greatest songs of the year! It makes me dance in my seat! I smile every time I hear this song. I hope you enjoy!

Please visit Lloyd's website and show your support! I am blessed to have Lloyd Marcus as my friend! I am looking forward to seeing him again soon!
