It is hard to believe that the holidays are already upon us. It seems like just yesterday that we were having the first tea party at the end of February. This year sure has flown by and we have all been so busy, there hasn't been anytime to take notice.During the holidays, it is so important to let your friends and family know how much they are appreciated. Over the past 10 months, I have made many, many friends, just as I am sure all of you have. Some of these friends are dear friends that seem like I have known them forever. Others, I have just met and look forward to getting to know them better.
One of my absolute favorite parts of the holidays is checking the mail to see what holiday cards we receive. Last year, I was involved in a card exchange with friends I had never met in person. The card exchange was wonderful and was one of the most memorable holiday experiences I have ever had.
With all of that in mind, I would like to start the First Annual Patriot Holiday Card Exchange. The purpose of the exchange is to send greetings to like minded individuals that are in this fight with us. Since there are millions of us standing shoulder to shoulder, we should have a good turnout of people that want to participate or we may only have a few. Whatever the number, for some of us, it is always nice to get holiday cards in the mail. These days, snail mail is becoming a thing of the past and it is truly unfortunate.
This is something fun that can get everyone in the holiday spirit. To make it even more interesting, instead of including a picture of your children or animals, include your favorite picture from a tea party or the March on DC. The purpose is to get in the holiday spirit and send real holiday greetings to like minded people. One last note, this is not a diversion to our latest battle that rages in the Senate. We are all very focused on that battle and will continue to fight the war. This is just an additional holiday activity for those interested. If you cannot do both, then focus on the Senate, as that is a much higher priority.

Happy Thanksgiving to all Patriots and your families and loved ones. May your holiday be filled with love, laughter, and abundance of Turkey!
