My Friends...I Have the Post Election Blues!

Hey Y'all,
I know I have been a lame blogger for the past week, but I am slowly coming out of my funk. I have to admit, I have been depressed and extremely blah since the election. As you can imagine, the outcome was very depressing for me, just as I am sure it was for many of you. For those of you that have sent me emails wondering if I am OK and what am I going to do...well, I will survive even if Barack Obama is going to be President. But I will not live in the shadow of the Election 2008 forever.

Yes, I am aware of the historical significance of the election and I think it is a great thing that we, as Americans, have elected an African American to the office of President of the United States. Unfortunately, I do not think the man that was elected is the real Barack Obama. I know some of you are going to call me a "sore loser" when I say this, but I feel like there has been a conspiracy to get Obama into the White House. The conspiracy has been committed by the Democratic Party and the Liberal Elite Mainstream Media! The sad thing is that it seems that there is not anyone to hold them accountable. I may be wrong, but I do believe it is only a matter of time until people start learning about the real Barack Obama. We will see!

Of course I wish McCain/Palin had won the election, but unfortunately, it doesn't always go my (or your) way. I respect the office of the President of the United States and will give Barack Obama a fair chance. Yes, I hope his presidency works out good for the country as I do not want to see our country fail. But I will admit, I am skeptical. As I said many times before on this blog, I don't trust the man and I don't trust him to lead this country. But right now, I will give him a fair chance.

I wonder how you all feel about his win? Are you willing to give him a fair chance? Are any of you experiencing the post election blues? I would love to hear from you...please leave me a comment or send me an email!

I have decided it is time to move on past Election 2008. As of today, I am lifting my chin up and saying I will fight on for the GOP and our conservative values. 2012 is not that far away!

Thanks for visiting. Have a great afternoon y'all!
